JUstDreamInparadise.......JUDI living in Paradise

I am fifty something and I love my family and the life I live. I'm an optimistic person by nature and I try to find a positive for every negative. I'm not a vegetarian, but the animal I eat is. I enjoy cooking, photography and scrapbooking. Since living here I have become a gardener and take immense joy in the beauty of my garden. My husband and I feel that we are the caretakers of the land rather than land owners. We run a grass fed Droughtmaster Stud on our little piece of Paradise and the cattle are a never ending supply of photo opportunities.

Happy New Year!

I loved Di's Christmas Tree.
With the blink of an eye we say goodbye to 2015 and hello to 2016.
Where does the time go.....

Last night we were invited by our friends, Doug and Di, to see out the old and bring in the new at their lovely home.  We drank champagne, ate pizza and ribs, and laughed so much our sides were aching.  Doug had received some "disguises" for a christmas present and we had so much fun trying on the different ones and laughing at the absurdity of it all.  It really was a lovely fun night and I thank you both, Doug and Di, for being incredible hosts and making it all so enjoyable. We are really going to miss you guys.

The boys are back in town!

Dave, James, Micheal and Colin.

The disguise kind of clipped on the the outside of the nose but somehow Philip managed to attach his to the inside nostrils.  He said it hurt like hell!!!! Men......

I made a salted caramel berry pavlova for dessert.  We just sat it in the middle of the table and took a spoon each and just devoured it.
