The weather has been very strange. In January ex tropical cyclone dumped almost 500mm on us and then we had nothing. Nothing for weeks. That in itself is very strange. Perhaps it's going to be a late wet season. Let's hope so. We have already started selling off cattle at Julia Creek. The prices are terrible but it's a case of "sell them or smell them".
Today here at Julatten it feels different. While I was having breakfast on the verandah this morning some really dark clouds rolled in and dumped a beautiful amount of rain on us. It didn't last long but the garden will love it. Here is the photo sequence.
