Horsham, Framing the Wimerra, Victoria

It was just 2 degrees this morning and drizzling rain so we decided on an easy carefree day of driving to follow the "Framing Wimmera" tourist route.  First was Natimuk with the Arapiles View.  Mount Aripiles is a rock formation that rises about 140 metres above the Wimmera plains.  The views from the top were spectacular.

The next place was Toolondo Reservoir View with the Grampians in the background.......

Number three stop was the Grampians View at Laharum.  The photo doesn't do justice to the magnificence of the Grampians.  I am totally in love with this area.
The last frame was the Wimmera River View at Horsham.  Another picturesque spot.
The only other place we stopped today was at Toscanno Olive Farm and it was sheer luck that we stumbled upon it.  We bought more olives (that we are quietly addicted too) and a litre cask of their organic olive oil that we were told won a gold medal.  There are acres upon acres of olive trees with varying stages of growth.  The olives that are produced here are quite small compared to some but very delicious.
